Concierge vs. Full Trip Planning: Which One Do You Actually Need?

The two services sound similar from the outside. The difference comes down to one question: how much of the planning do you want to hand off?

By Geraldine, ROAM · Founder

People reach out to ROAM at different points in their planning. Some already know what they want — a chef night, a boat day, the airport sorted — and just need it arranged. Others want someone to shape the whole trip. Both are normal starting points, and ROAM has a service built for each one, but it's easy to not be sure which you actually need. Here's how to tell.

If you know what you want arranged

That's Concierge. It books the pieces you choose — airport transportation, a private chef night, tours, a boat day, groceries stocked before you land, restaurant recommendations. Concierge works well if you already have a sense of what you'd like to do and just want it arranged.

If you'd like the whole trip shaped for you

That's Full Trip Planning. It starts with your dates, your group, and what you're picturing, then builds a day-by-day plan, coordinates everything in it, and stays reachable the whole time you're on the island. This is the right fit if you're not from Aruba, don't know the island, or want support once you've landed too, not only before.

What if you're not sure?

That's fine — most people aren't, and it's not something you need to figure out before reaching out. Send a message with where things stand (a few ideas, half-decided, or a blank page) and what you're picturing for the trip, and ROAM will point you toward the right one. There's no wrong door, and switching from one to the other partway through the conversation happens all the time.

The part that stays the same either way

Both services run on the same foundation: trusted local partners ROAM has real relationships with and real local knowledge. Being reachable for changes once you've actually arrived is part of Full Trip Planning specifically.
